Everyone Brings a Wishlist

Every client brings a list. Tall, successful, funny, emotionally available. Financially secure, adventurous, family-oriented. Some are handwritten. Some arrive in spreadsheets. Then I ask a different question. Describe a Tuesday. Silence. Nobody ever has an answer. A Tuesday isn't romantic. A Tuesday is leftovers, laundry, a barking dog, and somebody asking if you've seen their reading glasses. A Tuesday is where a relationship lives. The list gets people excited. Tuesday tells me whether they'll last.
